We are looking for a talented, creative, self-motivated team player to join our Bakery team.  We believe that the artistry of our cakes and confections is as important as the irresistible and unforgettable flavor. We offer several signature cakes as well as one-of-a-kind creations featuring marzipan that reflect the unique colors, style and theme of our customers’ special day.

We use only the freshest, top-quality ingredients .

Responsibilities:

Consistency in all aspects of standard and custom cake decorating, from simple style decorated cakes to more elaborate sculpted cakes, dimensional cakes, and stacked wedding and all occasion cakes

· Baking & decorating cakes from start to finish

· Production of menu items and special orders

· Willingness to learn and apply new techniques

· Quality assurance and controls

· Maintain cleanliness routines

Experience:

· professional baking and decorating experience a plus

· Proficient in working with buttercream, marzipan, royal icing, etc.; able to frost, skim, and fill cakes

· Strong time management skills

· Detailed oriented

· Work well Independently in a faced paced environment

 

Physical Requirements

· Standing/bending/reaching for periods of time

· Must be able to frequently lift/move totes or boxes of products

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Some weekend availability
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
