Sous Chef
The Blue Wagyu at Yankee Springs Golf Course is currently seeking to hire Sous Chefs to join our team.
– Full time / part time available
– May 2021 start date
– $20 / hour
The Blue Wagyu proudly offers the feel of a downtown dining experience in a picturesque rural setting.
We are centrally located between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo in Wayland, MI in the heart of Yankee
Springs Recreational Area. We are a family owned, upscale, farm-to-table restaurant with an outdoor
eatery, The Shed. The owners are also the farmers that raise American Wagyu. All beef served is Wagyu!
We offer a fast-paced, healthy atmosphere with pristine views in all directions.
We are seeking a hardworking, passionate person who can easily take directions and enjoys people to
join our team where you will be valued, challenged, and appreciated.
– Reports to Head Chef and assists in detailed operations
– Produces quality dishes
– Ensures kitchen maintains quality health and sanitation standards
– Demonstrates professionalism always and encourages a professional work atmosphere among
all coworkers
– Clear, concise and professional verbal communication skills
– Degree in culinary science preferred
