Seeking student Chef for Dinner Parties in Back Bay Home
Seeking an individual who enjoys cooking and presenting for small dinner parties at a private home in Back Bay. The typical number of guests are six to ten people.
Dinners typically consist of an appetizer, served in the living room (often crudite and a dip or some relatively simple appetizer) followed by dinner in the dining room of the home.
A typical dinner would have several courses.
Usually dinner begins with a soup course, followed by a salad, followed by a main course. The main course consists of either fish, chicken or beef as well as a vegetable and starch. The next course is coffee and tea service, followed by a dessert. The dessert course is typically brought in from a bakery so expertise in creating desserts is not essential.
The presentation of the food is important to the hostess, so the candidate should have some experience with pre-plating the Main Course in an attractive manner. If the dinner is done “buffet style” similar attention to attractive presentation is important.
Compensation is between $25 – 30 per hour.
