Pig Rock Sausages is an artisan sausage company focused on producing the highest quality line of sausages. Our ever-growing line of products currently consists of 28 different flavors.

We are currently looking to fill the position of Production Manager. Some level of Food/Kitchen Management experience is preferred however, we are willing to train new team members who are enthusiastic to learn and committed to our craft. We are looking for dependable, energetic candidates. The available shifts are day shifts which begin at 6:30 am and typically last between seven and eight hours. Some delivery may be required so a valid drivers license is necessary.

Our production manager must be able to stand for longer periods of time, be able to lift 50 pounds of product repeatedly, enjoy working in cooler temperatures and willing to run all aspects of sausage production (grinding, stuffing, packaging, labeling, cleaning). The ideal Production Manager will have strong leadership skills and be able to independently manage 1-2 people in the production room. Qualities that are important to this position will be attention to detail, time management and the ability to multitask.

We are are a small team and expect that our Production Manager will be an enthusiastic team player and hands on in all our operations where needed.

Responsibilities

Manage and evaluate entire production process
Contribute to production planning and budgeting
Lead and monitor quality assessments
Maintain a safe production environment
Coordinate with owner/operator

Qualifications:

1+ years of production/Kitchen management experience preferred
Strong organizational and managerial skills.
