MGB McLean Hospital Cambridge/Belmont MA is a year-round residential treatment program for adult dual-diagnosis substance use disorders with capacity for eight residents and is located on a lovely walking campus overlooking Penobscot Bay.
The Executive Chef is responsible for the daily operations of the MBC kitchen food service, managing kitchen staff and the budget planning, ordering and storage equipment, supplies and food, and preparing meals to provide high quality cuisine for residents in a large, well-equipped kitchen and pantry. This is a full-time (40 hrs./week) position and will work closely with the MBC Business Manager and Program Director, providing food service for MBC residents 7 days/week: 52 weeks/year.

Highlights:

· 5 or more years of similar restaurant, hotel, contracted food service management, or catering commissary management/leadership experience required.
· Hands-on upscale culinary experience required.
· High school diploma is required. Culinary degree preferred.
· Current Serve Safe Certification required.
· Supervisory or Management experience required.
· Conditions consistent with an Executive Chef position at a small-scale high-end restaurant.
· Kitchen environment protocols consistent with a world-class healthcare setting.
· Responsible for supervising a kitchen staff that includes both part-time and per diem chefs.
