Ocean Edge Is Looking for Benefit Eligible Sous Chefs!

Imagine a position that is located on beautiful Cape Cod bay AND one that offers benefits, like medical, dental, a medical FSA and paid time off?

Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club has immediate, full time openings for Sous Chefs. This position will oversee kitchen operations to prepare, cook and present food according to Ocean Edge Resort standard recipes.

Responsibilities Include:

–Ensure quality preparations and presentation according to set standards.
–Direct supervision of line cooks
–Ensure all kitchen team members are properly supervised, trained and evaluated
–Prepare schedules for all kitchen operations
–Ensure high level of organization and cleanliness of all kitchen operations
–Assist in the development of new menu items and recipes and communicate to all staff
–Lead by example and assist in kitchens as needed
–Exhibit skill in kitchen equipment
–Ensure proper receiving, storage and rotation of food products so to comply with State and Local Heath Department Regulations and report issues to Chef and/or Engineering Dept.
–Attend Leadership and Food and Beverage meetings
–Preference will be given to candidates with 3+ years of Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience and candidates processing Serv Safe food service certification.
