We are looking for creative and enthusiastic people to join our tight-knit team of cake artists and pastry chefs in creating our unique custom cakes each week.
Our main claim-to-fame is our crazy sculpted and special occasion cakes which have been featured in the Boston Globe, CNN, and on Food Network. We also have a cafe out front where we sell our freshly baked cakes, cupcakes, pastries, and coffee and tea every day. We are looking for self-motivated and enthusiastic people who enjoy waking up early to play with sugar and flour.
Baker duties include morning bake-off (arrive ~6 am), baking of custom cake orders, baking cake and cupcakes and all pastries to fill the store display case, restocking and prep for the next day’s bake-off. Our pastries include cookies, muffins, brownies, croissants, french macarons, poptarts, cinnamon rolls, banana bread, and lots more varying each week. We also have lots of vegan options such as cupcakes, cookies, and sticky buns. Everything we sell is baked on-site from scratch. Our bakers have lots of creative rope to come up with new flavors and combos within our daily offerings. The perfect applicant would be someone who thrives on baking something new and different every day but also is able to hone their skills and perfect the good ol’ standards, like yellow cake!
