Chocolatier Assistant (FT – 5 days/week)

This is a great entry position for recent culinary school graduates or anyone interested in chocolate and working in a commercial kitchen. Currently seeking a positive, upbeat, good natured and energetic individual to join our team in the production kitchen. Commercial kitchen experience helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities include ganache production, recipe prep, mold polishing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.  Will have an opportunity to become part of a close knit kitchen staff with an unusual opportunity to work with excellent teachers in both chocolate and commercial kitchen skills.

Must be good naturedly flexible, inquisitive, and consistent. Strength in multi-tasking, being highly organized, a fast learner, efficient,team player, attentive to detail, punctual, and very reliable.  Must be comfortable with regular constructive feedback and motivated to maintain  a high level of work performance at all times.

Position begins asap and will include training with head chocolatier.  Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for  8 hours per day.

M-F,  Weekends and holidays included in potential work days during the busy seasons.

Compensation based on experience.  Benefits include health stipend and IRA with company match.

Masks and vaccination with booster shot mandatory.
