Looking for a serious, motivated, experienced Pastry Chef/ baker to prepare a variety of desserts, pastries or other sweet goods. Your skill in baking high quality treats should be matched by your creativity to develop new amazing tastes and recipes. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. They must adhere to health and safety standards to provide clients with the best possible serving. The goal is to enhance customer satisfaction so that we can maintain and expand our clientele. This is a scratch bakery with an European style and everything is made on site.




The candidate need to have strong knowledge of baking and needs to be experienced and familiar with an high-volume pastry preparation.


Job Requirements:

Ability to prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, desserts, breads following traditional and modern recipes.

Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.

Monitor stock for baking ingredients and make appropriate orders

Check quality of material and conditions of equipment and devices used for cooking

Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently

Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards skills

Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role

Great attention to detail and creativity

Organizing and leadership skills

In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques.

Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

Ability to use a burning oven, commercial stand mixer and other pastry baking equipment

Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role

Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters

Understanding of food safety practices

Excellent time-management skills and multitasking

Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude

Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
