A bakery from scratch

Looking for a serious, motivated, experienced baker to take on responsibilities such as baking cakes and many different desserts. This is a scratch bakery with an European style and everything is made on site.

The candidate need to have strong knowledge of baking, bread making, proofing and needs to be experienced and familiar with an high-volume pastry preparation.

Job Requirements:

Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
Ability to use a burning oven, commercial stand mixer and other pastry baking equipment
Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role
Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
Understanding of food safety practices
Excellent time-management skills and multitasking
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
Certification from a culinary school is a plus
