80th Birthday Brunch

I graduated from the PCP at CSCA 25 years ago learning from Roberta, Carol Hook, Jan Schiff in baking and Sandy Block for wine.  I had a wonderful experience at the school and hope to hire a current student for an 80th birthday brunch “open house” on Sunday, April 7th. I want to be able to enjoy the guests and not have to do the work myself.  We are expecting 30-40 people “to come and go” open house style between 10 am and 1 pm. We will supply all the food, cooking equipment, china, glass etc. We have a large open plan kitchen/living room. We will also be hiring someone to bus all the dishes and help clean up. It will be very informal and fun with some of the guests being grandchildren. Menu will include eggs, sausage, bacon, crepes, oatmeal, and cold items like bagels, smoked salmon, croissants, jams, fruit salad etc. coffee, tea, juice. I would be happy to do a walk-through several days in advance, and make a shopping list with the chef, and I will be on hand to help and answer questions all day. Chef would probably be needed 8-2pm. $40 per hour cash.
