CSCA Students Compete in "Student Chef Showdown" on NECN's TV Diner
Three CSCA students competed against three Cordon Bleu Boston students in the NECN TV Diner "Student Chef Showdown" to promote TV Diner's Platinum Plate Gala. CSCA student competitors were Dan Jablow, Grace Anna Brinton, and Tony Sosa, all students in the Professional Chef's Program.
At the TV Diner Platinum Plate Gala, students will be paired with participating restaurants to help prepare 1000 tastings for event attendees. The TV Diner Platinum Plate Gala is on Saturday, November 21 at the Herb Chambers Lexus Dealership in Sharon, Massachusetts. Approximately 20 CSCA students will attend the event.
Student dishes included Tony Sosa's Far and Near East Pork Loin with Potato Globes and Sesame Green Beans; Dan Jablow's Braised Short Ribs with Chinese BBQ Sauce Glaze, Braised Bok Choy and Mushroom Sticky Rice; and Grace Anna Brinton's Seared Duck Breast with a Miso-Balsamic-Cranberry Glaze, with Pickled Ginger Beet Relish and Sesame Soba Noodles
