It is with great pleasure that we invite you to explore the art of cooking at one of the nation’s premier culinary educational institutions, The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. When Roberta Dowling founded the school nearly 35 years ago, she had little idea that The CSCA would become one of the leading culinary schools in the United States. Over that time we have welcomed thousands of eager students who have sought to raise their culinary IQs and pursue their passion for food in our kitchens and classrooms.
All of our programs offer a focused curriculum that is rewarding, exciting, and fun. At The CSCA we believe that education of the senses is as important as classical and contemporary techniques. Touch, feel, and sound are as much a part of the training as chopping, sautéing, and braising. Our instructors are trained professionals with experience in every aspect of the wide-ranging world of food, and small, hand-on classes allow our distinguished faculty to share their expertise with each student in a very personal and individual manner. Classroom instruction is augmented by seminars and events led by visiting authors, celebrity chefs, and other renowned industry professionals.
Graduates of our programs have gone on to accomplish wonderful things, and our alumni network is one of our greatest assets. Beginning from the first day of classes we actively mentor our students to help them achieve success in whichever career path they plan to pursue. We take pride and pleasure in offering life-long career assistance for all CSCA graduates. Whether you want to work the line at a local restaurant, open your own bakery, cater, become a personal chef, or write about food—the possibilities are endless, and we can help you toward achieving these dreams.
If challenge, excitement, and personal satisfaction are among your career goals, we truly encourage you to visit us here at the school. Call to register for one of our monthly information sessions, or make an appointment for a private tour with one of our wonderful Admissions Representatives. Come and see our attractive, modern kitchens, and take the time to speak with current students and instructors.
