Cambridge
Gets a Taste of Emilia Romagna and San Marino
"This was a once in a lifetime opportunity of food, wine, and friendship that
I'm so happy to have been a part of! I'm definitely going to be apart of future
tours!" —
Sheri Renalde, CPC, Epicurean
Experience, PCS
The first of what plans to be many gastronomic
excursions in Italy has been a success. The excursion consisted of a group of 13
people with some currently attending or having graduated from The Cambridge
School of Culinary Arts and others either in the industry or
passionate lovers of Italian gastronomy.
The excursion was organized in collaboration with
the International Coordinator Cesare Casadei of the Cambridge School of Culinary
Arts and the Chef, Luigi Sartini of the Righi La Taverna Restaurant in San
Marino.
It was a week-long trip to the ancient Republic of
San Marino, the regions of Emilia Romagna, and Marche with the focal point to
see firsthand the method of artisan production of many local, gastronomical
products.

“I had a great time on the
trip, the group was awesome. . . the places and things we saw were amazing. . .
I also liked the personal touch I feel you brought into the trip. I know that
when you go on some of the other culinary tours they are not as personal a bit
more clinical. The restaurants
we ate at were wonderful and the food was delicious! I can't wait for the next
trip!” —
